Office Online Server (OOS) is a server product from Microsoft that allows organizations to deliver browser–based versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote to their employees. OOS allows organizations to provide a consistent user experience regardless of the device used or where they are working, while also allowing them to securely manage access to corporate data. Additionally, Office Online Server allows organizations to take advantage of features such as real–time co–authoring, which allows multiple users to work on a document at the same time.
