Poe Voltage (also known as PoE) is an acronym for Power over Ethernet, which is a technology that delivers electrical power over the Ethernet cables to network–enabled devices such as VoIP phones, network switches, or wireless access points. This technology eliminates the need for AC power outlets, thus providing greater flexibility and cost–savings in many instances. The standard voltage for PoE is 48V DC with a maximum power output of 15.4W per port.
