Porte Feuill is a French term which translates to “leaf door,” and it is used to refer to the name of the double doors found on the outside of many French residences. These doors are often ornately designed and decorated, using a variety of materials including woods, metals, and/or glass. They are usually quite heavy and may contain locks or other security features to protect the home‘s inhabitants.
