Cisco and Juniper are two of the leading network equipment manufacturers and both offer a range of products and services. The main differences between Cisco and Juniper are the operating systems, support, and pricing. Cisco is traditionally known for its proprietary IOS operating system and switching technologies.

Cisco also offers extensive support and ongoing development. In comparison, Juniper typically uses a more open–source approach to its products and is focused on high performance and reliability. Juniper also has less robust customer service, but does offer some options for support.

In terms of pricing, Cisco is typically more expensive than Juniper as it is known for its higher quality hardware and software. Juniper, on the other hand, offers a lower entry–level cost but may require upgrades over time to keep up with industry standards.
