Transmit power, also known as transmit power level, is a setting on a wireless network adapter that controls the amount of power the adapter uses to transmit its signal. The higher the transmit power level, the stronger the signal will be and the further it will reach. On the other hand, the lower the transmit power level, the weaker the signal will be and the shorter its reach.
