A wireless mesh network (WMN) is a type of wireless network that uses mesh topology to connect multiple wireless routers, access points, and other nodes together. This type of network is useful for providing internet access to a large area with multiple access points. Wireless mesh networks can be used in both residential and commercial applications, along with providing internet access to mobile devices. Mesh networks are self-healing, meaning if one node fails, the other nodes will take over the failed node’s traffic until the connection is restored. Mesh networks are also highly resilient, as each node can be connected to multiple other nodes, making it difficult for a single node to be taken down.
