Wireless WMM (Wi–Fi Multimedia) is a feature of the Wi–Fi standard that prioritizes different types of traffic on a wireless network. It allows you to set different priorities for different types of data, such as voice, video, and data. This helps improve the overall performance of your network and makes sure that important traffic flows smoothly, while less important traffic can take a lower priority.
Wireless WMM (Wi-Fi Multimedia) is an IEEE 802.11e standard for Quality of Service (QoS) in wireless networks. It allows for prioritization of traffic, based on four categories of service: background, best effort, video, and voice. This helps to ensure that important data like video streams and VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) calls get the necessary bandwidth, while less important data like background applications don’t interfere with the more important traffic.
