The show startup-config command displays the contents of the device’s startup-config (also known as NVRAM configuration) file. This includes the saved configuration that was last used to configure the device, as well as any configuration changes that have been made since the router last restarted. The configuration displayed is typically comprised of commands from the global configuration mode, such as interfaces and routing protocols.
