Wifi 6 (also known as 802.11ax) is the latest version of WiFi technology, offering improved performance, faster data rates, and better coverage than the previous generation of WiFi (Wifi 5, or 802.11ac). It offers up to four times greater capacity than Wifi 5, allowing more devices to connect to the same network without sacrificing speed. Wifi 6 also operates in the same frequency band as Wifi 5, but it’s able to make better use of the available spectrum. It also has better power efficiency, which can help to reduce power consumption and extend battery life.
