To access your Linksys WiFi extender, you will need to connect your computer or mobile device to the extender’s wireless network.
Open your wireless network connections and look for the extender’s SSID (network name). It should usually start with the word “Linksys” followed by a series of numbers and letters.
Once you’ve selected the network, enter the password (also known as the network key). This can be found on the bottom of the router or in the setup guide that came with the router.
Once connected, open a web browser and enter the IP address of the extender. This can be found in the setup guide or on the bottom of the router.
You will then be prompted to enter a username and password. The default username is “admin” and the default password is “admin”.
You should now be able to access the web-based setup page of your Linksys WiFi extender. From here, you can change settings and configure the extender according to your needs.
To access your Linksys Wi–Fi extender, you will need to connect your computer or mobile device to the wireless network broadcasted by the extender. The network name (SSID) and security key (password) can be found on the back or bottom label of your Wi–Fi extender. Once connected, you can access the web–based setup page by entering the default IP address “192.168.1.1” into your web browser.
