Computer skills should be listed under a separate section on a resume, typically called “Computer Skills” or “Technical Skills.” Basic computer skills include proficiency in operating systems, hardware, software, networking, and security. Examples of computer skills to include on a resume include:
• Operating systems: Windows, Mac OS, Linux
• Hardware: Troubleshooting, installation, and repairs
• Software: Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, QuickBooks
• Networking: LAN/WAN, routers, switches, and firewalls
