A switch is an electrical device that can be used to open and close a circuit. When a switch is closed, it allows electricity to flow through the circuit and when it is open, it breaks the circuit and no electricity can flow. This can be used to turn components of a circuit on and off.
A switch controls the flow of electricity in a circuit. When the switch is turned on, electricity flows through the contacts and completes the circuit, allowing current to pass. When the switch is off, the circuit is open and no current can pass.
