1. In the search bar, type “Control Panel“.
2. Click on Network and Internet.
3. Click on Network and Sharing Center.
4. On the left–hand side, select Change adapter settings.
5. Right–click on your active Local Area Connection and select Properties.
6. Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and then click on Properties again.
7. Check the box next to “Obtain an IP address automatically“ and “Obtain DNS server address automatically“.
8. Click OK and close the windows.
9. Your DHCP is now activated.
