1. Open the file in your terminal using the command:
$ nano <file_name>
2. Use the arrow keys to navigate to the end of the file.
3. Type in the text that you want to append.
4. Press Ctrl+O to save the changes.
5. Press Enter to confirm the filename.
6. Press Ctrl+X to exit the editor.
