The easiest way to change the default permissions in Linux is to use the chmod command. This command allows you to change the permissions of files and directories, including the default permissions. To change the default permissions, use the command:
chmod -R u+rwx,g+rwx,o+rx <directory>
This will give the user (u) full read, write, and execute access; the group (g) full read, write, and execute access; and the other (o) read and execute access to all files and directories within the specified directory.
