1. Open the Start Menu and select Settings.
2. Click Network & Internet.
3. Select either Wi-Fi or Ethernet, depending on how you are connected to the Internet.
4. Click the Change adapter options link.
5. Right-click on your active network adapter and select Properties.
6. Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4).
7. Click the Properties button.
8. Select the Use the following IP address option.
9. Enter a valid IP address, Subnet mask, and Default gateway.
10. Click OK to save the changes.
