1. Open the Control Panel.
2. Select Network and Internet.
3. Select Network and Sharing Center.
4. Select Change adapter settings.
5. Right-click the active network connection and select Properties.
6. Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4).
7. Select Properties.
8. Select the option to Use the following IP address.
9. Enter the desired IP address and Subnet mask.
10. Select OK.
