1. Open the Network and Sharing Center by going to the Start Menu, searching for “Network and Sharing Center“ and clicking it when it appears in the search results.
2. Click the Change adapter settings option in the left menu.
3. Right–click on the network connection you want to change the IP Address for, and select Properties.
4. Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and click Properties.
5. Check the Use the following IP address radio button and enter your desired IP address and other information such as Subnet mask and Default gateway.
6. Click OK to save the changed.
7. Open a Command Prompt and type ipconfig /renew to check if the changed IP address has been successfully applied.
