1. Log into your router’s web-based setup page.
2. Once logged in, look for a settings page where you can change the router’s name (sometimes called the SSID).
3. Enter the desired router name into the appropriate field.
4. Save the settings and reboot the router.
5. After the router reboots, you should now be able to connect to the new router name.
