You can use Windows Performance Monitor to check the CPU usage history in Windows Server 2016. To do this, open the Performance Monitor by typing “perfmon” in the Start menu search box. Then, in the Performance Monitor window, go to the Performance tab, expand the Processor folder and select the “Processor Time” counter. This will show you the CPU usage history over the past few hours. You can also view the CPU usage history over a longer period of time by clicking the “Show Report” button and selecting the “Time Range” tab.
