1. To check the disk quota in a single user account, simply use the command “quota” or “repquota”.
2. To view the quotas for all users on a system, run the command “quotacheck –a”.
3. To check the quota usage on a specific filesystem, run the command “quotacheck –v /home” (or whichever filesystem you are interested in).
4. To view the amount of space used by a certain user, run the command “quota –u username”.
5. To manually adjust a quota limit, use the command “edquota –u username” (or whichever setting you are interested in).
