To check the IPv4 address on a Mac, open the Network Settings and navigate to the TCP/IP tab. Here it will display the IP address alongside information about the connected network. Alternatively, you can open the “Terminal“ application from the Utilities folder and type the command “ipconfig getifaddr en0“ to get back the IP address of the active connection.
To check the IPv4 address on a Mac, open the Network pane in System Preferences and select the network connection service you want to view the address of (Wi-Fi, Ethernet, etc.). Then, look for the IPv4 Address field. The address will be listed next to it.
