To check a mail server certificate, you will need to use a tool such as OpenSSL. With OpenSSL, you can connect to the mail server using the TLS protocol and view the certificate details. You can also use the command line to run the ‘openssl s_client -connect <mail-server-hostname>:<port>’ command to view the certificate. Additionally, you can use a web browser to view the certificate. To do this, navigate to the mail server URL and click the lock icon in the address bar to view the certificate.
