1. Gather the necessary tools: an RJ45 network cable, a wire stripper, and a pair of scissors.
2. Cut the cable to the desired length.
3. Strip the outer insulation from the cable, revealing the individual wires inside.
4. Separate the wires and arrange them in the order for the RJ45 connector.
5. Clip the wires to the proper length, leaving about an inch of exposed wire.
6. Crimp the RJ45 connector onto the wires.
7. Test the connection to ensure it is working properly.
