1. Connect a PC to the AP with the console cable.
2. Start a terminal emulator program on the PC and configure it to use the correct serial connection parameters.
3. Power up the AP and press the Mode button.
4. Once you see the prompt, type enable and press enter.
5. Type configure terminal and press enter to enter configuration mode.
6. Configure the AP by entering the desired commands.
7. To save the configuration, use the command copy running–config startup–config.
8. Exit from configuration mode using the command exit and press enter.
9. To view the current configuration, use the command show running–config.
10. To reboot the AP, use the command reload.
