1. Connect your computer to the router or modem.
2. Open the network configuration panel. On Windows, you can do this by typing “ncpa.cpl” in the Run window.
3. Right-click on the Local Area Connection or Ethernet option, and select Properties.
4. Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) from the list, and click on Properties.
5. Select “Use the following IP address” and enter the IP address, Subnet mask, and Default gateway.
6. Select Advanced, and select the DNS tab.
7. Select “Use the following DNS server addresses” and enter the Preferred and Alternate DNS server addresses.
8. Click OK and close the window.
9. Restart your computer for the changes to take effect.
