1. Log into your router/switch console.
2. Enter “configure terminal” to enter configuration mode.
3. Enter “interface vlan <number>” where <number> is the ID of the VLAN you want to configure.
4. Enter “ip helper-address <IP address>” where <IP address> is the IP address of the DHCP server you wish to use.
5. Enter “end” to save the configuration and exit.
6. Enter “copy running-config startup-config” to save the configuration.
