1. Log into your router using the username and password provided by your ISP.
2. Enter configuration mode by typing the command “configure terminal”.
3. Generate a domain name for the router using the command “ip domain–name [domain_name]”.
4. Create a username and password for SSH access to the router by typing the command “username [username] password [password]”.
5. Set the encryption algorithm used by SSH by typing the command “ip ssh version 2”.
6. Configure the interface used for SSH connections by typing the command “interface [interface_name]”.
7. Enable the SSH server on the router by typing the command “ip ssh server”.
8. Exit configuration mode by typing the command “exit”.
9. Save your changes to the router’s configuration by typing the command “copy running–config startup–config”.
