1. Plug your router into a power source and turn it on.
2. Connect an Ethernet cable from your modem to the WAN/Internet port on your router.
3. Connect another Ethernet cable from your computer to any of the LAN ports on your router.
4. Open your web browser and in the address bar type in the IP address of your router. This is typically 192.168.1.1.
5. Enter the username and password for your router. This is typically “admin” for both.
6. Once you are logged in, configure your router with your network settings, such as IP address, subnet mask, and default gateway.
7. Save your settings and reboot your router.
8. Your router should now be connected and ready for use.
