1. Connect the router’s power cable to a wall outlet or power strip.
2. Connect an Ethernet cable from the modem to the WAN/Internet port on the router.
3. Connect a computer or laptop to one of the four LAN ports on the router using an Ethernet cable.
4. Open a web browser on the connected computer and enter the default IP address for the router. The default IP address may be printed on the router itself.
5. Log in using the default username and password. This information may also be printed on the router.
6. Go to the wireless settings page and configure the wireless network name (also known as SSID) and a secure password.
7. Save the changes and disconnect the computer from the router.
8. Connect your other wireless devices to the router using the SSID and password you just created.
