To disable DNS lookups on a Cisco switch, use the following command: no ip domain-lookup.
1. Log in to the switch and enter enable mode.
2. Enter the “configure terminal” command to enter the global configuration mode.
3. Type the “no ip domain–lookup” command to disable the DNS lookup for the switch.
4. Enter the “exit” command to exit the global configuration mode.
5. Enter the “copy running–config startup–config” command to save the configuration changes to the startup configuration file.
6. Enter the “exit” command to exit the enable mode.
