The Quarantine Enforcement Platform (QEP) is a feature of Windows Defender that is used to protect users from malicious programs, by blocking unfamiliar and potentially malicious applications from running. To disable QEP, open Windows Defender Security Center, select Virus & Threat Protection, and then select Virus & Threat Protection Settings. Under the section titled “Controlled folder access”, toggle the switch to the Off position. This will disable QEP and allow any applications to run on your device.
