1. Use a command prompt/terminal. On Windows, you can use the “ipconfig” command; on Mac, use the “ifconfig” command. This will give you the IP address of the local computer.
2. Look up the hostname in a search engine. If the host has a domain name (like example.com), you can use a search engine to look up its IP address.
