1. Check your home: Start by checking the last place you remember having the Switch. Look in all of the usual spots such as behind couches, under beds, in backpacks and drawers, as well as in any entertainment cabinets or shelves.
2. Ask family members: If you can’t find it at home, then ask family members if they remember seeing the Switch. Many times, family members may have inadvertently moved it or taken it with them without you knowing.
3. Track your Switch: Download the Nintendo Switch Parental Controls app on your phone. This allows you to locate the Switch using its built–in GPS tracker. The app requires an account with Nintendo linked to your device.
4. Search public spaces: If your last known location was out of your home, search the public space where you last remember having the Switch. Contact the establishment if necessary and explain that you’re looking for a lost Switch.
5. Contact the police: If you have exhausted all other options, contact the police and file a report. They may be able to help you locate the Switch if it has been stolen. Make sure to provide them with as much information about the Switch as possible.
