The easiest way to find a network security key is to access the router’s setup page. This can usually be done by connecting your computer to the router and typing in the router’s IP address in the browser’s address bar. Once you are on the setup page, look for a Wireless Security or Security Settings section and it should list the network security key. If this is not an option, many routers come with a small card that includes the key printed on it.
The network security key is usually found on the back or bottom of your router. It is sometimes referred to as a WEP key, WPA key, or wireless passphrase. If you cannot locate it on the router, you may need to contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP) for assistance. Additionally, some routers allow you to access the security key via the router’s web interface.
