To find the default gateway IP address on a Mac:
1. Open Network preferences by clicking on the Apple menu and selecting System Preferences.
2. Click Network.
3. Select your active network connection from the list on the left.
4. Look for the Router entry in the TCP/IP tab. This is the IP address of your default gateway.
