To find a switch’s IP address, you can use one of the following methods:
1. Log into the switch using the console port and type in the command “show ip interface brief”. This will display the IP addresses assigned to each interface on the switch.
2. Use a network management tool such as SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor to scan the network for the switch and display its IP address.
3. Use the ARP command to discover the switch’s IP address. Type “arp -a” in the command prompt to display all devices on the local network, along with their respective IP addresses.
To find a switch IP address, you can use the command line interface (CLI) of the switch. You can access the CLI by either using a local console connection or via Telnet or SSH from a remote computer. Once in the CLI, type in the command “show ip interface brief” to view the IP addresses for all the interfaces on the switch.
