1. Connect an HDMI cable from your source device (such as a laptop or Blu-ray player) to your HDMI-enabled TV, monitor, or projector.
2. On your TV, monitor, or projector, press the appropriate source button to select the HDMI input.
3. On your source device, adjust the settings so that the HDMI audio output is enabled.
4. Connect an audio cable from the HDMI audio output on your source device to the audio input on your sound system or receiver.
5. On your sound system or receiver, adjust the settings so that the HDMI audio input is enabled.
6. Adjust the volume on your sound system or receiver.
