You can use the Windows command line to get an IP address from a computer name. The command “nslookup” followed by the computer name will return the IP address. For example, if you wanted the IP address for a computer named “MyPC”, you would type “nslookup MyPC” into the command line and press enter. The output should be the IP address associated with the computer name.
