Unfortunately, there are two main ways to get more storage for the Nintendo Switch.
1. Purchase an external hard drive that is made specifically for the Switch. Most of these external hard drives offer between 256GB and 2TB of storage space.
2. Replace your Switch console’s internal storage with a larger capacity microSD card. The maximum storage capacity a single microSD card can provide is currently 2TB.
The Nintendo Switch comes with 32GB of internal storage. The easiest way to get more storage for your Nintendo Switch is to purchase a microSD card. The Switch supports cards up to 2TB, so you can get plenty of extra space to store your games and other data. Additionally, you can also connect a USB 3.0 hard drive to the Switch via the USB ports on the sides of the console.
