1. Log into your router by typing the router’s IP address into a web browser. The default IP address is often printed on the router itself or can be found in the manual.
2. Look for either a ‘DHCP’ or ‘LAN’ section. This will depend on the router manufacturer.
3. Select the option to turn off DHCP and assign a static IP address.
4. Enter the desired IP address, subnet mask, and other details. These will need to be provided by your ISP.
5. Save your settings and reboot the router.
