1. Configure your router to assign your computer a static IP address. This will require you to access your router’s settings page and manually enter the IP address you wish to assign to your computer.
2. Make sure to enable DHCP reservations on your router. This will ensure that your computer’s IP address will remain the same even if the router is restarted.
3. Update your computer’s network settings. You will need to manually enter the static IP address, subnet mask, default gateway and DNS server settings in your computer’s network settings.
4. Use a program like No-IP to keep track of your computer’s IP address. This will allow you to access your computer even if its IP address changes.
