1. Gather your materials. You will need a notebook, some colorful paper, scissors, and glue.
2. Decide what commands you want to include in your command book. It should include directions for basic tasks such as brushing teeth, making a bed, and washing hands.
3. Create a cover for your command book. Cut out a piece of colorful paper and glue it to the front of your notebook.
4. Write out each command, one per page. For each command, use simple language and include illustrations to help explain it.
5. Laminate each page of your command book. This will help it last longer and make it easier for children to understand.
6. Put your command book in a place where it is easily accessible. This could be on a shelf or in a binder.
7. Use your command book to help teach children how to follow directions. Have them practice each command until they understand it.
