1. Gather your networking equipment. You will need a modem, a router, Ethernet cables, and network adapters for each device you want to connect to your home network.
2. Connect the modem to the internet. Connect your modem to the wall jack using a coaxial cable.
3. Connect the router to the modem. Connect your router to the modem using an Ethernet cable.
4. Connect your devices to the router. Connect the network adapters to each device you want to connect to the home network.
5. Configure your router. Log in to the router’s administration page and configure the security settings, network name (SSID) and password.
6. Connect your devices to the network. Connect each device to the router’s network using the network adapters and the network name and password you set up.
7. Test the network. Once everything is connected and configured, test the network to make sure everything is working properly.
