1. Log into your Comcast router by entering the IP address into a web browser and logging in with your username and password.
2. Go to the Advanced tab and select the Wireless Settings option.
3. Under the Wireless Network Mode option, select “Bridge Mode” and click Apply.
4. Click on the Firewall tab and select the “Disable” option for all the firewall settings.
5. Click the Apply button and the changes will be saved.
6. Disconnect the Ethernet cable from the Comcast router and connect it to the new router.
7. Log into your new router and configure it according to your needs.
