1. Open the “Windows Start“ menu and click the “Settings“ icon.
2. Select the “System“ option and click “Projecting to this PC“ in the left column.
3. Use the drop–down menus to select which types of devices can remotely project to this PC and under “Choose how you want to receive media and other devices”, select whether you want to receive them through the wireless display (Wi–Fi) or the network.
4. If you need to share your screen with another device, select “Available Everywhere” under “Who can project to this PC” option. For security reasons, it’s a good idea to set a PIN so only authorized people can access your laptop.
5. Now you’re ready to share your screen. When you wish to start the process, press Windows Key + P on your keyboard to access the Project Screen feature. A new window will open, allowing you to choose whether you want to duplicate your computer’s display, extend the desktop, show a presentation, or use the second monitor as a whiteboard.
