1. Open the Run dialog box by pressing the Windows key + R.
2. Type “powercfg.cpl” in the box and press Enter.
3. Select the “High Performance” option from the Power Options window.
4. Click the “Change plan settings” link next to the high performance option.
5. Click the “Change advanced power settings” link at the bottom of the window.
6. Expand the “Processor power management” section.
7. Change the setting for “Minimum processor state” to 100%.
8. Change the setting for “Maximum processor state” to 100%.
9. Click “OK” to save the changes and close the window
