1. Configure the appropriate interfaces on your router to act as layer three ports. This includes assigning each interface an IP address in the subnet it will be servicing.
2. Connect the router to the switch with at least two network cables. One for the VLANs and one for the master port.
3. Configure the switch to assign each port to the correct VLAN.
4. Configure the router to route between the VLANs. Make sure to include the information about which subnet is on which VLAN and how each VLAN should communicate with the other.
5. Test connectivity by pinging from one VLAN to the other.
6. Ensure that other devices connected to the switch in different VLANs can communicate.
