1. Connect your modem to your router to your computer.
2. Go to Control Panel, then Network and Sharing Center.
3. Select “Set up a new connection or network“.
4. Choose “Wireless Network Connection“
5. Enter the SSID or name of your wireless network and select the type of security it uses. You may also need to enter a security key if it is using WEP or WPA–PSK security.
6. Windows will then connect you to your wireless network. You may be prompted to enter additional information such as an IP address or DNS server address.
7. Once connected, you should be able to open your web browser and surf the Internet.
