1. Connect the IP Camera to your Network: Connect the IP camera to your router or switch using an Ethernet cable.
2. Configure your IP Camera’s Network Settings: Log into the camera’s web interface and configure the network settings. This includes setting the IP address, subnet mask, and gateway.
3. Configure Port Forwarding: Port forwarding enables remote access to the camera by allowing traffic from the internet to be directed to the camera. In the web interface, configure the external port and internal port to the same number and select the protocol type as TCP.
4. Configure Dynamic DNS: Configure dynamic DNS to register your camera’s IP address to a domain name. This will enable you to access the camera remotely with the domain name instead of the IP address.
5. Test Remote Access: Use the domain name or IP address to access the camera remotely. If successful, you can now view your camera remotely.
